Le Lavandou boasts 12 kilometres of unspoilt coastline, lined with 12 magnificent beaches of fine sand.
Each beach has its own special character, with some being more family-friendly, others more suited to sporting activities, and still others offering incomparable tranquillity. - Cavalière beach, known as “La Sportive”, is ideal for water sports and seaside dining.
- The beach at Saint-Clair, nicknamed ‘La Perle’, is famous for its fine sand and turquoise waters. It is ideal for swimming and snorkelling, particularly around the large rock known as “la baleine”, where you can see many fish.
- The Fossette beach, a smaller, more charming beach surrounded by lush green vegetation.
- The Centre-Ville beach, a large beach of fine sand lined with palm trees. Supervised and family-friendly, it offers a lovely view of the Isles of Levant and Port Cros.
- Jean Blanc beach, a wild beach of sand and rocks. With its white sand, turquoise water and beautiful vegetation, it offers a heavenly setting and is popular with naturists.
- The Anglade beach, nicknamed “la Branchée”, is close to Le Lavandou town centre. It is known for its lively atmosphere and offers a selection of beach establishments with restaurants, making it a great place for those looking to combine relaxation by the sea with quality dining.

- The Rossignol beach, also known as “La Secrète”, is a charming cove located around 6 km from Le Lavandou town centre. It is particularly well-suited to sunbathers, offering the perfect setting for a full body tan.
- Éléphant beach, 5.5 km from Le Lavandou, is a splendid stretch of fine sand. Ideal for a day out with family or friends, it is perfect for those looking for a peaceful spot away from the crowds.
- Layet beach, known as “l’Anse du Boucanier”, 6 km from Le Lavandou. A discreet, intimate beach, perfect for lovers of tranquillity and naturism.
